1987. 32 years. I was a newlywed of a year with a newborn son. Now we have 4 married adult kids and 6 grandchildren. I can clearly remember hanging our GRAND OPENING banner and keeping track of our original 53 units/customers using index cards in a recipe box.

A few months back, Wife and I were shredding old leases. I was about to shred a lease when I noticed it was lease #000001. I have it hanging on the wall with the tenant name and info covered with a post it note. I should frame it.
It was dated 11/16/1999. This is our 20 year. I too remember everything from construction estimates to the name of the contractors. In 2004 we built the CC building. Hmmmm I don't know the exact date of the first rental, but do remember it was a pharmaceutical rep. I have to try to remember her name and look up prior tenants.

Good feedback, I really like the Levitons and could see putting automation in place to handle it. I could use If this then that to turn on or off the outlet. The drawback is that the outlets all have a manual option to turn it on. I think using IFTTT can just shut it off it detected every 5 min or...

I have some of them on my property. Each on a separate 20 amp breaker. I charge a $20 per month premium for the power. I have an automated kiosk for rentals but those units are blocked off in the management software so that you need to meet me to rent them.

So far those units have been...

That seems like a great idea-though place them somewhere they won't get damaged when a senior citizen inevitably knocks into one side of the other. I've had many phone calls for powered spaces so they can run dehumidifiers or a trickle charge for their battery....
