  • Summer Rentals

Traditionally, Memorial Day weekend is the official kick-off for a rush of new rentals for many operators. Do you expect this year will be different?

No, I hope it ramps up because the state should be opening soon after. *crosses fingers*
Even duct-tape can't fix stupid. But it can muffle the noises.

If they need small units, I got 'em. Big units, 10x10 or bigger, then a big fat NO! Waiting list a mile long.

Exactly the same here. I turn people away regularly that need more than 6x9 and don't have time for a waiting list. It's good, but frustrating at the same time.

Yes, I do hate to say no to a prospective tenant, unless of course I am 100% full. Then it is time to roll out the BBQ grill and have a party.

We usually get the students that leave their dorms in April or May but this year they checked in March so we have very few small units available. I have larger units available and I hope that we get rid of those too.

I have been having more move outs than normal.

My college students rent 5x10 units almost exclusively. Rare for anything bigger or smaller. If bigger it is usually a pair of students renting the unit.

I thought of taking down walls, we have done it before, but the idea was "kibaushed".

My walls are drywall with FRP. They don't come down, sadly.
