  • Eggs randomly left outside building

    Alrighty then . . .

    IMG_2939.jpg

That's a first for me. I guess it's better than the open Papa John's box with half a pizza in it I found outside a tenant's unit at another facility when I arrived one morning. The crows were happy, though! But I guess the sign we had to put on the bait box gives you an indication of the kind of people we're dealing with sometimes! Sometimes it's best not to ask questions and just move on, lol!

OR maybe it was the juror from the Alex Murdaugh trial!

A juror was dismissed from the Alex Murdaugh trial Thursday — and she told the judge she needed to collect the eggs she has in the courthouse.

Yes (if you zoom in on the photo, you can see one peeking out at the front right). All 6 were there. I simply can't imagine how a tenant came to set those down there. So bizarre!

This made me giggle.... I've had 6 ceramic eggs disappear from the chicken coop over the last couple months. So baffling.

THIS Morning, my dogs follow me out to the coop as they do every single morning. One is about 10 months (she's a border collie/mcnab mix). She sits and waits while I feed and check nesting boxes. We go back in the house and on the floor is one of the ceramic eggs!

This puppy has been crawling into the coop stealing the ceramic eggs!!

I wonder if they wanted any rodents/other pests to eat the eggs instead of the poison bait inside the box??
Too many freaks, not enough circuses.

Do you know if they were fresh eggs?
                  Were they already hard boiled?
                  I have so many questions!
Why would someone have taken them out of the car, start to walk towards the unit ( I assume) and lay down 6 eggs and not pick them back up?

You should hang a picture sign and ask IS THIS YOUR PROPERTY?

I wasn't about to touch them. I waited until the next day, and threw them out using a garbage grabber.
