We have a 2'x2' QR sign on our gates which leads right to the website for rentals or payments.

I thought they were useless at first. But when applied in a practical sense, like directly linking to your website (not cat videos or adds), they serve a positive purpose. Anything you can do to make it easier for customers to pay is a win-win. It's also one less excuse for not paying on time. I also added a big " Payment Portal " button to the center of our website's home page for easy navigation. Put them on my Open/Closed/Hours sign and will be adding them to my entry gate signage like ' helenatim ' did.

        Want to make one?
Open Chrome - then open your website - click the share icon to the right of the address bar and the QR code option will appear in the list. Click on it and download it to your pictures. Open it up and scan it with your phone to test it. This is a static QR code. As long as your website address remains the same, you wont have to worry about Dynamic Codes. Don't worry, you wont break the internet...its already broken .

Believe it or not, they do get used. I have had several tenants make their payments right at the gate and then text me how easy it was. Anything to help people pay!

Hi there! Thanks for sharing the article about QR codes. QR codes are a great tool for businesses and individuals to share information quickly and easily. They're especially useful now when people try to minimize contact and interactions. I've used QR codes like smartengines.com/ to access restaurant menus, view store product information, and even make payments. They're so versatile! What kind of experiences have you had with them?
