I voted about the same, then I went and compared June last year to June this year. We were up 30% over last year!

Our net is about the same, but we are having fewer move-outs compared to years past. Just wish we weren't still handcuffed by the price gouging laws because we were renting our spaces for more last summer.

My economic occupancy. % is up from this time last year!
        Occupancy rate is the same!
Move-In's compared to last year are only down by 4 move in's.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can do today.

Oddly enough our rentals are up 12 over last year for this month, but our income is about $3500 less, I chalk it up to recently lowered prices and smaller units being rented instead of the more expensive bigger units.

And no late fees for 2 1/2 months.
Even duct-tape can't fix stupid. But it can muffle the noises.

Do your return and profitability calcs. Parking has a very low return compared to storage. Not a very good first storage investment, unless you happened to find cheap wasteground, or cheap ground that already had hardsurface....

              Parking info:
              Surface, Canopy, Enclosed.

              Just talking Surface.

Have run the numbers about 10 times on Enclosed, but I would have to charge $225 to $350 per month and don't have that market here. Have only seen one location on the interstate near Oklahoma City that had...
