Gate Software that charges credit cards and texts? Does it exist?

I have a 5 acre storage lot for Semi Trucks and large RVs.

I have WIFI and electric within 10 feet of the gate. I have not bought a gate, but thinking a slide gate, I have the room for that.

They rent daily, weekly, monthly. Pay in advance.

I want a sign on gate text “park my rig” to 727-555-1212”

Software responds with “click here to download app to park”

They download the app and that app lets them create an account, select daily, weekly, monthly rate, enter credit card, charge credit card, abd then let them open the gate by clicking button in the app.

The credit card should charge again automatically every day, week or month fi the customer selects "recurring". Code is disabled at end of charge cycle or when customer cancels.

Software notifies me when credit card is charged or declined. (cha ching, you got money or "ERRRR- card declined") so I can check who and what happend and look at cameras.

Cameras record all entries sbd exits triggered by gate.Links to videos in customer profile, which has a log of all entries and exits timesstamped. Also motion at gate.

I need some reports in the software to look at various things.

I need to be able to revoke codes manually as well.Give them manually as well as "one time use" codes.

What else do I need? You all are more experienced than me! What's missing?

Have you looked at automated parking lots? Like in big cities/large airports? See what they use because it seems like exactly what you're looking for,

Also, are your spaces numbered or is it a case of 'if I fits, I sits'.

Seattle has a ton of open parking like this with a kiosk that you purchase your time and it assigns you a parking space. You put the ticket on the dash and it shows date, time, space etc.

Thank you KrisinCali for your suggestion. I have poked around at them, but I don't want a machine to maintain or software that is hardcoded. I want a APP that is very flexible and can change easily as the model, times, techonogy changes without having to buy a new machine. I try to always use other peoples personal devices which leaves me only needing to buy, alter or maintain the software. Hoping there is a ready made app for what I want to do.

Anyone else have any ideas or experience?

Your best bet is probably hiring an app developer and just developing what you need. I just had an app developed (for another business) and it cost about $5k. I would expect you could probably do something in the same cost range.

I have built tons of software and apps. More than I care to count. $5k is not much. But updating it year after year and keeping up with new technology is not fun or cheap. As the OS of the phones and phone systems, computers and wifi, you end up spenidng a lot in the long run. Rather "share" those costs with a few hundred other users if something already exists. There is a lot of self storage software out there, seems someone has what I want or very close. For much less.
