  • Holidays Favorites and Traditions

This year will look a bit different, but you can still enjoy your holiday favorites and traditions. What are you looking forward to the most? Holiday cookies, winter snow, decorating your home, giving and getting gifts? What traditions do plan to carry out this year?

Every year I watch as many Hallmark Christmas movies as I can.

Our tradition of going to our oldest daughter's home!
She only lives about 35 miles from me but this is where we gather!
We are actually thinking of doing it different this year too and thinking about sleeping over on Christmas Eve and stay thru the 26th!
      I have 2 grown daughter's, 1 son-in-law and 3 grandchildren!
My 90 year old Mother will usually come with me on Christmas and I think that is still Mother's plan for this year!
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can do today.

I love watching all the classic Christmas movies with my daughter. We are starting tonight with The Grinch (the one with Jim Carrey) - her choice. I have all of them on DVD so we choose one to watch each night of the weekend for the whole month of December. On Christmas all of my kids will come over (I have two grown up sons, a daughter in law and two grandbabies) and we will open gifts and have a nice dinner.

My parents come to stay the night at my house on Christmas Eve. and we all wear matching pjs, and open gifts Christmas morning together! The only tradition we are changing up this year is the food. We always have too much ham and other stuff left over since we don't really care to eat on it longer than a day, so we are grilling fajitas this year! I say we...I am the one that mans the bbq pit and makes the pico de gallo, but I don't mind

AngelaESSTX Fajitas sound yummy! My family is Italian. Usually, we do a potluck of pasta, meatballs and such.

My husbands family is Sicilian and we do Alfredo and lasagna for Christmas eve dinner. And for dessert we eat fig cookies.

I knew I was right about all this. Here on the west coast it is worse than in other places. You get the groups together that are still doing the riots in Portland and Seattle and that emboldens others to do anything they want and the city politicians let it happen. What kind of society is that? It is...

Rates are what I am finalizing now. Prices everywhere here are going up. I set ours up a couple of months ago. We are about a month away from opening our doors. We have nearly 10' ceilings in our units (taller buildings), led lighting on timers in all units, roughly 25 cameras that cover 100% of the...

There were riots in Seattle (actually still going on every week) but the one I'm referring to was when the guy stole an AR-15 rifle from a police car which was then set on fire (the car). This guy had the gun forcibly taken from him by a former Marine, now bodyguard for Q13 Fox.
