If you could go back in time, what career would you pursue (regardless of money, skills, etc.)? Perhaps you would've like to become a chef, engineer, hair stylist, pilot, business owner or something else. Share your career fantasy!

I always wanted to be a school teacher.

Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can do today.

Sometimes you find your career and other times your career finds you.

I was lucky enough to have worked the jobs that I wanted to do when I was a kid, there is one other job left on my list.

I wanted to follow my grandfather and be an engineer on Naval ships, I turned down my commission, but did still work/sail on ships.

'Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men (and women) and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.' - Mark Twain, The Innocents Abroad/Roughing It

        Just my opinion.

I also wanted to work in a library and was blessed to work at two different locations in different states.

My last job on my dream/kid list, was to work for an airline. Seven of my relatives have worked or retired from airlines. If that was to occur, my list would be complete.

I have been beyond blessed to find a career in self storage. It may not have been a dream of mine, but it has been a great fit for me.
