  • It's Official! I'm in the Mobile Storage Business!

I am now officially in the mobile storage business and going to tie this into our self-storage business.

Anyone else on the forums in mobile storage? Whether Big or Small?

Mobile storage does sound like an interesting concept, although am not sure how that works. Wishing you luck with your business and if you could share a bit about it?

Mobile storage is a business that solves a lot of problems for people that fixed storage do not. It is a fast-growing service business with a high-enough barrier to entry that not just anyone with a piece of land or an unused warehouse can enter the business.

That is very true if you try to get into it without a self storage facility. We have looked into adding it onto our self storage facility and that price tag is much much lower than just outright geting into mobile storage alone.

Jeff, how big is your mobile storage part of your business, how many containers do you have?

We have 6 unassembled 10' X 10' portable storage units that we MUST sell. They are in State College PA on pallets. Must sell all of them together. If I should post this somewhere else, PLEASE let me know where. Portable units Flyer revised.pdf Portable units Flyer revised.pdf

I passed it along to my owner's group.
Even duct-tape can't fix stupid. But it can muffle the noises.

They do- if you know this person I would give them a heads up to change that right away. If they get reported to the authorites they would be in big trouble. All Fair Housing laws are applied by both Federal and State law.

If the facilities ever have to follow rental laws, like for housing, that will be the day I start looking for another career.

This warning was written and posted by a home owner that rents out a room. I have no idea if they have to follow the same laws you speak of.

These requirements violate almost every single Fair Housing law there is. You CAN NOT advertise in a public forum, or ask them in a private setting what is their religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, you cannot deny them a pet if it is a service animal- if they have a doctors note you have to take...
