    Main Street Birmingham Inc. is seeking a $1 million stimulus loan to develop a mixed-use retail property that will include self-storage in downtown Birmingham.

    A currently vacant 54,000-square-foot store will be turned into climate-controlled self-storage. Thoughts?

    Calling a big box conversion 'stimulus' seems quite a stretch. It's good that a vacant building will have a tenant and have long thought that such properties are a good fit for storage but this doesn't pass the smell test, not with so many developers and owners begging for, but not receiving, financing. Just how connected is the B'ham developer?

      We charge a non-refundable Admin Fee of $25 which includes disc lock, key ring, pen and letter opener (to open disc lock). No complaints yet....

      Other things to do with a Storage location. Spending more time at the new location, so made it more homey. Flowers in full bloom. Eggplant, peppers and tomatoes starting to come in.
