We are opening our first self storage in Maryland state
If any one have good idea about how set up filing system and form for such as lien check list all and forms
I would appreciate it

How do you store lease and other document by unites # or by last name and once they vacant how do you keep records for future ?

We use Storage Commander - this allows us to maintain records of previous tenants.

We also keep hard copies of all necessary records, but the records for vacated units are sorted by year and month of vacating.

All hard copies for current tenants are filed by unit number.
