Hi Patty, i just notice your post. did you ever hook up with an auctioneer??
We use Storage Auction Solutions, in Middleton, MA , 978-777-5850.
www.storageauctionsolutions.com . I know some people who do their own auctions, they dont usually get many bidders, but by advertising in the paper, and "holding an auction" they can then get rid of the contents.
By using the auctioneer, we still have to run the newspaper "legal notice" ad, but he has a website with his sale schedule posted every month. When he pulls into our lot he's like the pied piper - there are always 10 or more vans and trucks following him from site to site. i know he gets us more $$ than we could if we do it ourselves, and usually every unit gets sold - so we dont have to clear out junk. good luck, mike
