The box was a normal show box but the jerky was in a sealed container. They also came in 2 different packages, so NO, my shoes smell like new shoes. I have yet to open the jerky and smell it.

  • I remind of that because it is a very large PITA to deal with for all of us and answers so many questions. My state says I can lock a unit at one day late. If I have a move out at anytime before the rent is due, no skin off my nose but after they owe rent then they are "stealing from me"....

I have been known to walk around them and while doing so I am saying, "Yep, a great place to just stop and be in everyone's way". I never even look back to see them react. Is about as bad as being in line to pay and the items are all rung up and THEN is when the idiot starts to look for the...

  • I can lock down any unit if I see something that is not right, grief from tenant and if dodging my questions. I am not just limited as to when we lock for being late. According to statutes we can lock the first day late. As I have said many times, I am nosy and ask a lot of questions. If I follow what...

After all, if he walks around with an AMEX card he likely has friends or family that have money or just damn god credit and can get cash on a card and buy them from you for him....

Plus, if he wants them bad enough he can send a friend or family member with the cash to buy them. Just like units here. I never ever hold or reserve units. They can rent them online if away from here. That would only be after a talk with me to fully vet them. I have people all the time want to go on...

That is the way the owners here do things too. They are a family of contractors and building management. They built the facility to have units to not only rent but to use for storing of materials and furniture that they stage the homes with before selling. When they buy newer furniture or other items...

First thing to do is see what the year make and model of these sell for in your area. You can look in CL. Check as many sources as you can find. You also need to know the condition and see if the boss has ANY paperwork of what he paid for them and all the repair and maintenance work done on them since...

  • I drill it in at move in that a notice is expected and is part of the legal and binding lease agreement. Train from the beginning. There will still be people that are of the entitled masses that will do what they want anyway. I have stepped up to a person moving out when owing rent and locked the door...

I do a lot of business with Amazon Prime. I hate crowds. One of the reasons is one of my pet peeves. At the entrance and exit doors people will enter or leave and then after about 2 steps they stop right in the middle of traffic. I just want to bull rush them sometimes and push them aside....

Is a nice thank you to hear. I will be at my American Legion later today for friends and memories and to eat the most spaghetti I can, along with all the fixin's.

  • The Chateau locks are basically the same design as my ABUS locks but I have used a 4 foot bolt cutter on them and cut them off. They are made in Japan or China and the metal compound is not as hard. I have tried to cut the ABUS locks the same way and could not.

Bella, don't you know that you are not allowed to make a mistake and that any tenant will say they have been a good tenant. The entitled masses are among us.

Post a sign about fees charged for them bothering you for after hours. You have to train the tenants. I got a doorbell ring 2 weeks ago. First one in about a year. It was a long time tenant. She brought me 2 dozen double chip chocolate chip cookies. I thanked her and then kiddingly told her that now...

I also stress the point that the admin fee for the lock is a "one time" fee. I always tell them that they get 2 keys and there is no master key. I tell them they should get extra keys made at a locksmith and not a hardware store and when they get extra keys to come make sure they actually...

Our admin fee is ALWAYS charged and they get the 28/70 ABUS lock, like in the video. WE do not make them use it. If they want to hang a cheap lock on there, fine, and they can sell the lock we give them on ebay for all I care. We cannot MAKE them use our lock, according to the facility attorney. But...

It's a "I want it my way and I want it now" kind of thing with some people. You are incompetent if you don't have what they need when they want it and at the price they think they should pay. I assume your call backs are dictated by ownership but also IMO I would not call anyone back that...

We use the first ABUS lock here. Thankfully in the 22+ years this facility has been open we have never ever had a unit break in. He did say that lock would be the minimum he recommends and it does well for us in the right price range. I am going to look in to the Dimple key design.
