  • My locker never existed and I want my money back

    When tenants move out of our facility the standard procedure is for them to empty the unit and then inform the staff in the office. We will them accompany them to the locker to check that it is clean, empty, and undamaged. If so, we say goodbye and wish them well, and they ride off into the sunset....

    Ah, I was thinking of the doors that swing outward as we have both at my facility. I have a disk lock and as someone who's fairly absent-minded/forgetful I lock it in the hasp on my personal unit (with a swinging door) so I always have a place for it. My guess is whoever designs these hasps never thought...

  • How about having no signs? (Beyond the one you have already) If someone can't figure out to ring a bell and open a door, you don't want them renting from you anyway.

    My understanding is that people lock them open when entering the unit to prevent any person from locking the door while they are inside. Or they may lock the unit open to eliminate any possibility of locking their key inside....

    Where I work there is no one who lives on site, but staff still occupy the store for about 15-30 minutes after closing to perform their closing procedures. Customers love arriving 1 minute past closing to bang on the door for dear life. We're free to ignore these people and aren't obligated to interact...
