I would have to agree with that statement. I manage another business on top of the storage units for my boss. I think that is why he hasn't bothered raising rent nearly as often as we could or should. It helps to see what others do on this forum & I appreciate that! We are adding another facility...

We have only ever raised our rates every 3 years and it is $2 and then $3 the next time around. I am not sure why the owner chose to do it that way but he has. We have been at 96% for 2 facilities and 100% at the 3rd for years & years. I would like to raise them more often but I guess I always figured...

I had a lady on autopay that yelled at me because every time her card was declined, her bank charged her a fee. This happened every single month. I explained what being on autopay meant but it got me no where. I finally told her I was removing her from autopay & she could call in a payment each...

Scvette, one would think if you have a track record with them they would be more flexible on the quote for the newer buildings. I realize pricing has gone up across the board. I am with lady5563 - I would mention the 2nd quote you received and remind them that you have spent alot with them already!...

We do not have a limit on units per tenant. We have quite a few that have a handful each. As long as the rent is paid, I don't see any cons
