    Angry customers, not even mine!

Our company just sold one of its properties across town. There is some sort of glitch in both their phones and on the website. If I type in the old name of the facility online it goes to the new companys website, but the phone calls get redirected here for some reason.I keep getting calls from their...

I am not familiar with Oklahoma laws- but would imagine if they dont sell at the auction there is some provision in the law that would allow you to dispose of the items any way you see fit. I would personally contact any boat dealers in the area to see if they will make you an offer on it- you may not...

  • I would do some research for your state to find out what you're required to do, every state has different rules for that, and I personally feel it is a best practice to mail out the extra notice to the secondary address because you have knowledge of it. In my opinion, paying an extra $6.80 for a certified...

Thats just awful. I hope she will be able to find a more suitable location to work at! I don't think I could put up with dealing with that sort of stuff everyday....

  • IN WA we have to have it in writing with signature to any change of info on the lease. WA state doesn't accept email notifications as an official change of information ( phone number, contact alternate, etc..) Ironically, I will email them the form to fill out and allow them to fax or scan it back to...

I work for a company that uses the name NW Storages on their advertising but the name of the actual property management company is different. We are in the PNW, but our company gives 50% discount up to certain size and a free lock.We can supply our own insurance. I wonder why they put up with or allow...

I think he has other units at other facilities and is losing track of what is owed, and when. You should see his "ledger." A book full of scribbled notes, white out all over the place, and old wrinkled up receipts. I think he really tries but lets just say accounting is not his strength....

Same here, we usually are in the 95 to 99% range, but have had an almost 8 point drop. We had a ton of move outs from people who are buying homes and don't need the extra storage anymore, or they are moving out of state and taking their stuff with them.We also had several new competitors open this year...

I would offer to let her have a different unit, but if she was wanting to move out over it-just waive the months rent if she was moving out due to damage caused by a structural or maintenance issue like a rain gutter malfunction Either way the damage claims would be between her and her insurance company....

Same here, I wish we could have one more color though for damaged units, like orange maybe? The green locks we use for reserved units, units that need to be cleaned or damaged units. That's too many possibilities for one color....

I have a lot of military members who store their weapons on site, they are not allowed to keep them on base- or rather, they can store them on base- but have to go through a series of checkpoints to check it out and check it in, making it a huge hassle if they want to do target practice, so it's easier...

I have a current customer who asked if he could make a prorated payment to move his due date forward a few weeks because that worked better for him financially, so we allowed it. Since then, he regularly sends in the wrong amount, and always at the wrong time- so at any given time he either has a credit...

Those pesky little buggers. And the mice are annoying too! I have a little mouse issue in one of our buildings right now thanks one of the Big Box stores we share a loading dock area with- they have an unofficial employee lounge area/breakfast/lunch and inner table parked about 50 ft away from our loading...

IF they give a 10 day notice before their rent is due, I will prorate out their last month but only up to 10 days,SO- if they are there for 11 days they are now paying for the full month. Period. We are an anniversary date move in facility, and our lease paperwork spells all this out for the tenants...

First, I'd like to compliment your style, bunny slippers are awesome. I have a pair of giraffe slippers myself! I would agree with Mama Bear. Eviction notice coming right up, along side a no trespass order for him and the lying girlfriend.I would also limit his access hours to office hours and make...

Yikes! Well at least they are gone now. I have had a few of these over the years too. They are so difficult to deal with because they actually believe their own lies and will spout off all of their "rights" to you. LOL

I can usually spot an actual Skillcheck caller, its the ones that are actual customers that they record our conversation then review it. Those are the ones that I think can cause some irritation on the store getting graded. They dont have both sides of the story so they shouldnt be grading us on it....

The bonuses are based on a percentage, it can range between $0 up to $150- but some managers have different percentage bonus so if for example I get a $100 bonus for a 100% score, another manager may get $120 for a 100 % score because they may have a higher percentage than I do based on experience or...

Yep! I told one of our supervisors the full story and he just said, well, you just gotta follow the script on all those calls to get the high score, shrugged his shoulders and left it at that. I was FUMING for a whole week after that....
