I voted for what I know, I have been a StorEdge user for several years, and it is more expensive than Easy Storage Solutions.
But in my market there are facilities, that use StorEdge and some that also use Easy Storage, In just about every case the location with StorEdge has a higher...

I don't actually have to do anything, I make sure all my auctions are over 1 week long. Bid13.com will send out an email to all registered bidders in the area 1 day after bidding starts. So that counts as advertising the sale. That email from Bid13.com does more to attract bidders than posting in...

I am in Iowa, the lien law changed about 2 years ago. I have to advertise the sale, but it is not required to be in the newspaper anymore....

I love the fact that I no longer have to advertise in the newspaper, because I have made that mistake too....

We don't evict people ever, we just terminate the rental agreement. If the tenant fails to move out, we will then put the unit through the lien process....

I think the biggest reason would be that their web site had my facilities organically number 1 in my market, their call tracking and lead generation I find very helpful as well. There are a number of times those leads have prompted me to reach out to potential customers, and help them. Sometimes people...

I thought and did this at first too. The site wasn't that bad looking either. But the money I thought I was saving by doing this, ending up being money I was losing by not having a high quality web site. The StorEdge management system and web marketing suite have been great for my online marketing...

From everything I have heard Web Self Storage is horrible, but things may have improved I will let users of it chime in for themselves.
I use StorEdge Software and their web package as well. I highly recommend it, but it is going to be more expensive than your new proposed rate with...

Can you even do a rate increase with those terms?
I think it may be time to update your rental agreement to allow email notifications, allow changes with 30 day written notice, changes to your fees you want, and anything else that may need to be updated.
I had to do that...

Does your rental agreement state how changes can be made to the agreement? If your rental agreement doesn't have a provision allowing changes to the wording of the agreement, then you may be required to have everyone sign a new agreement to have changes go into effect....

I would ask the auction service to move on to the next highest bidder, if that doesn't work I would relist the auction....

Back when we were still holding live auctions, I sold a unit that had made a payment before the auction.
This has probably been almost 10 years ago.
At that time I trusted that my office employee was properly doing their job, and I didn't double check the auction list before...

I have many issues with the autopay feature with StorEdge.
1. Why isn't the auto pay setting under billing options?
2. Why is the autopay date automatically the anniversary date of the move in? This is my biggest complaint so many people setup autopay and request their rent be late every...

I have 3 locations about 15-20 minutes apart, two of them have always been remote locations without offices. At the 3rd location we closed the office there over 2 years ago, and I have no intentions of opening it back up.
Before online auctions we would schedule auctions to have a 1...
